Data deletion information

Device data, chat information and blockchain records in Tether Wallet have different deletion scopes.

Server data deletion procedures in preparationWe are preparing server deletion procedures. Send related inquiries to support@khworks.kr. Email inquiries do not trigger automatic deletion; deletion scope and identity verification must be confirmed separately.

Wallet data stored on your device

Resetting the app or clearing its data through the operating system affects the wallet and settings on that device. First confirm your phrase backup and access to assets. Without the phrase you may lose access to your assets.

Chat accounts and server data

Uninstalling the app or resetting a wallet does not automatically delete all server accounts, profiles, conversation relationships and records. “Delete for me” and “Delete for everyone” on messages also differ from deleting an entire account.

Identity verification, data covered, processing times and backup retention will be described on the support page once finalized. Automatic account deletion is not currently offered.

Information recorded on blockchains

The company cannot delete or modify public blockchain addresses or transactions. Deleting local wallet data does not burn, move or delete blockchain assets.

Before preparing deletion

Check your wallet recovery options and access to your assets.
Check contacts and records you need separately. A recovery phrase does not restore all app data.
Never give recovery phrases, private keys or passwords to the company or anyone else.
